Just Like a Fairy tale.

Dear Cove Haven Entertainment Resorts:

Thank you again. We had a wonderful wedding. Even more than I could have hoped for. Just like a fairytale.

We started to plan something small on our own, but on paper it was getting bigger and more out of control than either one of us wanted. It seemed like we were trying to please other the people and the bride and groom were getting lost in the shuffle. I searched online for a Pocono wedding and found the Cove Haven Entertainment Resorts website. I got the OK from Mike for a private wedding that would be just special for us, and then I called Theresa. Within minutes we were booked and all the work was done. All I had to do was buy a dress and show up.

A few days before the wedding I called Theresa to ask a few questions and all I said was "Hi, Theresa, this is Roberta Fotopoulos calling. Without hesitation she said “Roberta, congratulations, you’re getting married this weekend.” I was so impressed with her knowing who I was without looking things up on the computer. Like I was a friend or family. I couldn’t believe it.

We arrived at Pocono Palace Resort on a Friday afternoon. We met with Betty to go over the details (she is such a sweet lady). She always had couples in her office when we walked by but made us feel like we were the only couple on property. She told us the basics but made sure we could have whatever we wanted or had in mind. The wedding day went like clockwork. Mike left the room so I could finish getting ready without him seeing my dress. Betty came by with my flowers and helped me get into the rest of my dress. She was great and so friendly and happy. Both Mike and I felt like we had a mother with us. The flowers: Betty had given me the name of Geanna’s florist. I placed the order and they would deliver them to Pocono Palace. I explained what I wanted and they were absolutely beautiful. Again, more than I could have hoped for. I actually got the idea of the small bouquet of roses from the Cove Haven Entertainment Resorts honeymoon brochure.

The minister and wedding: Rev Catherine Thayor married us. She was a lovely women. I got a chance to talk to her for a few minutes before the service without Mike around and I guess Mike had a few minutes with her when I was not around. In just that short time, she incorporated some of the things we said and added them to our wedding service. It made our service so much more special and unique for us. Again, more than I could have hoped for.

The photographer: Lydia, was great. She just knew what kind of great pictures to take and they came out beautiful. In addition to what she took, she made sure that we could have any pose or location we wanted. She had taken so many, we couldn’t think of anymore. And not like a traditional wedding, we had our pictures the very next day to put in a wedding album. The pictures were so good, we bought them all and Lydia told me how I can contact her for re-prints.

It was a wonderful day. We felt like royalty. Especially staying in the most beautiful resort/suite than we have ever been to before. We stayed in the Fantasy Apple suite. It was incredible. If we had tried to have a traditional wedding at home, we might not have had the money to have such a wonderful honeymoon. The food and entertainment were great. We will definitely be back. It was just a dream come true and I thank you all very much.

Didn’t Want To Leave

Dear Cove Haven Entertainment Resorts:

Hi! My name is Julie and my (now) husband and I stayed at Cove Haven Resorts for our honeymoon from February 23-28. OH MY GOSH ... we had so much fun and we are already looking forward to coming back sometime soon! Everyone there was extremely nice and always there to help. Honest Phil—what an awesome guy, we had a blast with him! Sherri helped us when we got there and throughout our stay with any questions, which I cannot thank enough for helping us make our time there so much fun. The Champagne Tower Rooms were AWESOME!! I even asked my husband if we could just buy that room, I did not want to leave so he had a hard time getting me to leave. I just wanted to thank everyone for all of the welcomes and best wishes that we give to us. I have already recommended this place to so many people. Hopefully they will take the opportunity to go and see for themselves what an awesome place it is. It was exactly what I wanted for our honeymoon—who needs the warm sun and the beach when you have the Poconos!!!! You treated us like honeymooners and gave us so much attention, which you cannot get any place else! Keep up the excellent work and you will definitely see us again! We’ll most likely be one of those “Forever Lovers!!!” Thanks again for everything!

25th Anniversary—Vow Renewal

It was unfortunate that Phil wasn’t available—we would have loved for him to see himself as we did 25 years ago. It was such a wonderful way to end a superb weekend. We renewed our wedding vows on the 15th of June at noon and had 45 of our closest and dearest friends and families there to celebrate with us. Unfortunately, a close family member passed away the following week and the day after we buried her I had two major surgeries. I am home and on the mend now, so I finally had a moment to write this note of thanks to you and all of our family at Cove Haven!

Our First Vacation Ever Together—
Our Honeymoon

My husband and I just got married on November 28 and had our honeymoon at Cove Haven. We stayed from December 1-5. We got back a few days ago and I just had to email you and let you know how much we enjoyed your resort. The service was extraordinary, the food was fabulous and the atmosphere was breathtaking. From the first to the last day, we had the time of our lives. I really didn’t know what to expect before making the reservation. Believe it or not, but this was the first vacation we had EVER taken together, our honeymoon!!! We have been together for about seven years!!! So you could imagine how anxious we were to finally go away together. Well even though I didn’t know what to truly expect before arriving, I have to say that you definitely surpassed any expectations we had. I have been raving about your resort to EVERYONE I know. I truly feel that every couple (married, dating whatever!!) should come and stay at Cove Haven Entertainment Resorts to see how wonderful an experience it is. Again, thank you so much for wonderful memories that will last us a lifetime and for making our honeymoon something truly special. But, make no mistake, we will definitely be back. Every year for our anniversary so we can experience this forever. I really believe that you make people, “Forever Lovers.’

On behalf of my husband and I, I just wanted to tell you we had the time of our lives during our stay with you guys. We stayed in the Champagne Towers by Cleopatra and enjoyed our room immensely. You were highly recommended and I’m glad we tried you guys out. We will be married 10 years this December. We never had a wedding or honeymoon, but you certainly made us feel like we just did. My husband was very impressed to the point where he was thanking me for booking this getaway and also wanting to come back next year. After spending a marvelous weekend at Cove Haven, we felt it very necessary to express our appreciation for the wonderful services that were provided to us.

Hats off to you and your staff for making our stay truly enjoyable. The accommodations were unique, beautifully updated, and exceptionally clean. But perhaps the most impressive aspect of Cove Haven is the staff. Everyone we encountered from the hostesses at the Restaurant, the servers, housekeeping, groundskeepers, etc. were so friendly and helpful. It is not often that you see employees really enjoying their–jobs!
